Here we will do reviews that are for or about kids! No "R" rated reviews on this page!

"MONSTERS, INC." - "G" What I believe will be one of the greatest Disney movies of the past 20 years. This one actually lives up to it's press hype. In this story we find that the reason we have electricity is because of monsters. They must cause screams to produce the energy, but they must not come in contact with humans, because we are toxic. When Randall(Steve Buscemi) tries to become the top scarer over Sulley(John Goodman) and his pal Mike(Billy Crystal), a human, Boo(Mary Gibbs) accidentally comes over to the monster side where she is found by Sulley. He must find Mike and both have to get her back throught the door before any of the other monsters find out. This movie is hillarious with pranks and one liners galore. Though obviously a made for kids movie, I can guarantee adults will enjoy it just as much!

"CATS AND DOGS" - "PG" This is not a cute movie about our household pets, this is a war movie! Who would have ever imagined that a truce between them is all that is standing between peace and caos. The brilliant cats have decided they have had enough of playing second fiddle to the dumb dogs. Professor Brody(Jeff Goldblum) is the home based genius attempting to make a cure for dog alergies in his basement, where it is decided the battles must begin. Carolyn Brody(Elizabeth Perkins), does what she can to support her husband, while wondering which one of them is more strange. If the cats can make it so that his cure does the opposite and makes everyone allergic to dogs, they can replace the dogs as man's best friend and the dogs will be vanished. While no true violence is involved, kids will understand there is no love lost amongst our furry pets. Many recognizable voices(Charlton Heston, Alec Baldwin, Tobey Maguire, John Lovitz, Susan Sarandon) give the impression that maybe our pets are smarter than we give them credit for. In the end, sanity is restored and the dogs have done their part to save the world! Good movie to let the kids watch on weekends to allow some quiet time for parents!

"SPY KIDS" -"PG" If you have kids that are between 5&13, this movie is for them. Very little violence and many funny things by kids will keep their attention throughout! It lets kids imagine what could happen if they found out that their parents were international spies. While there were some big name stars(Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino, Cheech Marin, Teri Hatcher), this is all about the kids(Alexa Vega, Daryl Sabara). Carmen and Juni find their parents kidnapped and then discover they are spies. Depending upon each other, they must learn things that normal kids would never know. With the help of cool "Spy Toys", they must rescue the parents from impending doom! This gives kids great relief to find that no matter the odds, kids can do anything(which they already know)! Great movie for sleep overs to keep kids occupied for a couple of hours!
